A Small Gesture That Made His Parents Proud

It was a small gesture captured by the team photographer but one that made his parents beam. At a recent Staples freshman squad football game against Stamford, one of the Wrecker captains, A.J. Konstanty, went over to a Stamford player who was injured during the game and shook his hand. “We’re very proud of this spontaneous act of sportsmanship & kindness,” said parents Jared and Kelly Konstanty. “In a world full of negative headlines & bad news, my wife Kelly and I thought this was a cool moment of positivity.” (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Photo by Shelley Burger Sports
