A Championship Victory Souvenir at GFA

Greens Farms Academy’s 6-foot-9 senior forward Sean Obi gets himself a souvenir today following GFA’s 67-42 win over the Brunswick School of Greenwich to take the Fairchester Athletic Association (FAA) championship at GFA’s Coyle Gym. Looking on is GFA coach Doug Scott. Obi has signed a National Letter of Intent for a full basketball scholarship to play at Rice University in the fall. The Nigerian native came to the United States in 2010 and lives in Greenwich with oil trader Steven Eggers and wife Bobbi who have become his legal guardians. The Eggers’s son Hunter is also on the GFA basketball team. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) John Hartwell for WestportNow.com
