The property at 201 Main St., which has 13 apartments and until recently housed a business doing glass and screen repairs, has sold for $3.25 million, the HK Group announced today.
HK was the only broker involved in the transaction for the seller, the estate of Anna Nappa, who died in 2009, and buyer Belden Place, LLC.
According to HK, Belden Place plans to redevelop the property “into a first class residential property” with 14 apartments and a retail store. Three of the apartments will be classified as affordable, the announcement said.
The .39-acre property is in a restricted business district and has three separate buildings totaling 10,050 square feet.
Nappa purchased the property in 1964, and the main building once housed Violet Antiques and later Alfred Heckman Distributors.
From 1971 up to about two years ago, the building was occupied by Nappa Sales, doing general glass and screen repairs, selling windows, doors and glass.
