The house at 87 North Ave. came down today as new owner Terry Brannigan watched. Brannigan, and his wife Laurie and two children bought the house in June. (It was the WestportNow Teardown of the Day on June 29.) Brannigan, a native Westporter, 1979 Staples graduate, and former wrestling coach there, said their present home next door on Blue Coat Lane is “too large for us and we wanted to design our own house.” Their new home will be about 4.000 square feet and is scheduled to be completed next spring.
