Kidville, dedicated to children’s activities, will open in late August at 1568 Post Road East, the former location of Goodwill Industries, according to owner Valerie Gutman. Locally, the Westport market is brimming with activity that we haven’t seen for a very long time. As long as inventory levels grow while the buyers are still out, we can expect our market to continue to improve.
The concern from some analysts is that this seemingly sudden market burst is short-lived, but the signs of a locally improved market seem to be strong.
The S&P/Case-Shiller Home Index report reviewed sales in February, and both the 10- and 20-city composites increased 0.4 percent and 0.3 percent respectively from January to February.
