Westport’s COVID-19 case count was up eight at 255 while the town death count was up one at 17, state officials said today, reporting two-day statistics.
There was no town-by-town count released on Sunday.
Hospitalizations continued to fall statewide and in Fairfield County for the 12th straight day.
Patients currently hospitalized with COVID-19 are 1,464, a decrease of 24. In Fairfield County, the number decreased by seven to 507.
There are 12,245 cases in Fairfield County and 910 deaths, up 24.
The state reported 29,973 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19, up 661. There have been 2,556 deaths, up 61 in the past 24 hours.
Patients tested for COVID-19 statewide are 105,330 up 2,837.
