  1. The Toquet Hall Teen Governing Board was downtown on Wednesday giving away homemade goodies and hot chocolate in order to raise funds for their annual holiday project. The “TGB” has supported the Westport Human Services Holiday Giving Program for the past 4 years. Each year they raise funds to purchase holiday gifts for some 40 residents of the Interfaith Housing Community including The Gillespie Center, Hoskins’ House and Linxweiler House.

The “TGB” will be downtown again Friday, Nov. 26th from 1-4pm. All proceeds from the bake sale go directly to purchase gifts which often include movie tickets, gift certificates, toiletries and a homemade gift.

For more information on the Holiday Giving program contact The Town of Westport, Department of Human Services at 341-1050 or hsyouth@ci.westport.ct.us.
