Snow Squalls, Low Temperatures Likely

After a brief snow squall moved through Westport late today, the National Weather Service said a few snow squalls are possible into this evening.

They could produce brief significant reductions in visibility, higher winds than forecast, and a quick coating of snow, making for potentially hazardous travel conditions.

Temperatures will fall with a low around 16. Wind chill values between zero and 10 are likely.

It will be blustery, with a northwest wind 17 to 24 mph, with gusts as high as 38 mph, the Weather Service said.
