Saugatuck El Raises $22,000 for Hole in the Wall Camp Image
Saugatuck Elementary School students raised $11,186.70 with their recent walkathon for The Hole in the Wall Gang, a camp dedicated to providing a “different kind of healing” to seriously ill children and their families throughout the Northeast, free of charge.” That figure is actually doubled—for a grand total of $22,373.40—due to the dollar-for-dollar matching initiative by Positive Tracks, an organization whose slogan is “we help young people get active and give back using the power of sport.” Pictured are SES head library and media specialist Rae Anne Locke (l) celebrating the donation with Andrea Keefe (c) and Melissa Newman of The Hole in the Wall Gang.
