Line of March for Memorial Day Parade

Here is the is the “Line of March” for Monday’s Memorial Day Parade. The number next to each unit corresponds to numbers on the river side of Riverside Avenue. The numbers start at Saugatuck Elementary School.

All units must be in position by 8:15 a.m. for the official 9 a.m. start. The parade will go along Riverside Avenue, turn east at the Post Road and cross the Ruth Steinkraus Cohen Bridge to Myrtle Avenue where it will turn left, continue past Town Hall and end at Main Street.

There will be a memorial ceremony on Veterans Green following the parade. .

Unit commanders are asked to keep pace with the unit in front. Throwing of anything to the parade watchers is prohibited and any violators will be asked to leave the parade.
