“Lemonaid” stands popped up around Westport and Weston today as more than 180 families joined to help New Yorkers living in poverty. The program is sponsored by Robin Hood, New York City’s largest poverty fighting organization. “We are thrilled to bring the power of Robin Hood’s Lemonaid program to Westport and Weston for the first time,” said Amy Sinclair, Lemonaid captain. “Lemonaid is a great way for parents to introduce their children to philanthropy at a young age. It demonstrates how the smallest of efforts can make a huge difference in someone’s life.” (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Contributed photo
