Getting the Bridge Lights in Order Image
Al’s Angels’ volunteers and AJ Penna & Sons prepared the Cribari Bridge for the holiday season until 2 a.m. today. All new LED lights were purchased and attached last season by the local nonprofit and its volunteers. This year the bridge was closed with the help of Westport police while any strands damaged by vehicles were replaced and wiring was assured to be in working order. The official bridge lighting will be celebrated at the Saugatuck Rowing Club to benefit Al’s Angels the day after Thanksgiving, with adult tickets on sale for $40 and children’s for $10.
