Alice Blyn, 14, of Roxbury-based Riverbank Farm, shows off organic celeriac at the weekly Farmers Market today at Gilbertie’s Herb Garden, 7 Sylvan Lane. Alice, the daughter of owner David Blyn, said celeriac, often included by chefs as an ingredient in soups or stews, is usually prepared by peeling and chopping. “It tastes like celery but with a texture like potato,” she said.
