Documentary filmmakers Richard “Deej” Webb Jr. and Robert Steven Williams today led a group of 20 persons on a Westport Historical Society walking tour, “In Gatsby’s Shoes,” at the Compo Road South one-time residence of F. Scott Fitzgerald and his wife Zelda. Webb is author of “Boats Against the Current: The Honeymoon Summer of Scott and Zelda: Westport, Connecticut 1920.” The book is a companion to “Gatsby in Connecticut: The Untold Story,” a documentary he and Williams (both Westporters) have been working on for more than six years, which will air on public television in the fall. Cribari Bridge Closures Postponed a Week

The announced nighttime closures of the William F. Cribari Memorial Bridge in Saugatuck scheduled to begin Monday have been postponed at least a week, police said today.

“The contractor estimates work should begin on Aug. 6,” an announcement said.

“No road closures will commence until that time. 

“The construction schedule is subject to modification and we will advise of any further changes.”
