Westport Senior Center is Open

The Westport Center for Senior Activities will be open today and will operate on a regular 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. schedule, officials announced.

The Center usually closes when public schools are closed, which occurred today due to roads blocked by trees or power lines.

“However, we encourage you to be safe first and not to take any chances while traveling or coming to the Center,” an announcement said.

“We will allow you to make up any classes that you miss today due to the circumstances. Safety first!
