Marilyn H. Kennedy, 81

Marilyn Heavey Kennedy, a former Westport resident, June 23 in Hartford. She was 81.

A longtime resident of Westport, she and her husband, Philip, had recently relocated to Bloomfield.  She was born in Boston on Dec. 19, 1933, the daughter of the late John F. Heavey and Evelyn Bleakney Heavey.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Philip; her daughter Janet and son-in-law Kiok Kim of West Hartford, and their children, Alex and Sophie; her daughter Karen and son-in-law Michael McCann of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., and their children, Matthew and Katherine; and her daughter Sara of Bloomfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jack and her infant daughter Laura.

A private celebration of her life was held at Caleb Hitchcock Health Center at Duncaster.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
