UPDATE A routine motor vehicle stop on Westport’s Post Road West tonight led to a drug arrest of a female passenger and a police pursuit into Norwalk with two other suspects arrested, one after jumping into Norwalk Harbor, police said.

Police were still seeking a fourth suspect.
According to police, the incident began when Officer Kevin Smith stopped a white Dodge Charger with a Maryland license plate on Post Road Rest at about 5:45 p.m. Assisted by a backup unit, Smith located narcotics on a female occupant outside the car, police said.
As he did so, the car took off with the driver and two other passengers, police said. Smith pursued the vehicle as another officer stayed with the female passenger, identified as Taylah Lucido, 21, of Shelton.
UPDATE Metro-North said New Haven service is now operating on or close to schedule after earlier delays due to signal problems in the vicinity of Westport.
The Westport Cinema Initiative (WCI), which is working to bring a movie theater back to Westport, announced today it has received a $2,580 state grant from the Department of Economic and Community Development, Connecticut Office of the Arts as part of its Arts Catalyze Placemaking program. The grants go to arts-based cultural projects, activities and infrastructure to advance the attractiveness and competiveness of Connecticut communities. Police arrested a 50-year-old Westport man Friday on drug charges after he was found passed out at the wheel of his car, police said today.
Officers responded to the area of 13 Baker Ave. Friday morning to check the welfare of a driver who was reportedly unresponsive at the wheel, police said.
Upon arrival, officers found Joshua B. Leitner of 94 Coleytown Road passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle blocking a travel lane.
According to Capt. Vincent Penna, arriving officers had to physically remove Leitner from the vehicle.
