Training Under the New Chief Image
Westport firefighters today performed their annual May Day Firefighter Down training under the direction of the Fire Department’s new chief, Andy Kingsbury, at its headquarters facility.  Kingsbury, who had been the department’s training officer as assistant chief, said that this drill reinforces the communication issues that are vital when a missing or downed firefighter is rescued. Abbey Road Advisors LLC located at 33 Riverside Ave. sold the building, which had been vacant, to Baywater Properties LLC in Darien. It was a private sale that did not involve commercial real estate brokers.
