Haylee Has Her New Home

Haylee the dog wants a New Home
Haylee. Connecticut Humane Society
Meet Haylee, an active, rambunctious Bull Terrier mix.  This adorable gal is searching for a new family and would love to be home before the holidays.  Her perfect home would be with teens and adults who aren’t afraid of her exhuberant personality and are prepared to help her learn her manners.  Haylee would love to be in a single-family home with a big fenced yard for lots of play time, but a condo or townhouse would be OK as long as her new family takes her out jogging or for frequent walks so she can burn off some energy and see the world.  Haylee may be OK with other dogs but must be in a cat-free home.  If you think Haylee is the one for you, come to meet her today at the Westport branch of the CT Humane Society!

Zach has a new Forever Family

Zach the cat needs a new Forever Family
Zach. Connecticut Humane Society
Zach is a beautiful and affectionate boy who absolutely loves everyone! This handsome boy came to Connecticut Humane Society when he started having some accidents around the home. He seems to have re-learned proper bathroom habits while in the Society but a new owner may have to be prepared to remind him of these habits in a new home. Zach does have very long and fine fur so he needs regular brushing and grooming. Come meet this sweet guy at the Westport branch of the CT Humane Society today!

Sammy has a Family to Play With

Sammy the dog wants a Family to Play With
Sammy. Connecticut Humane Society
Sammy is a rambunctious, active boy in search of a new family. He came to Connecticut Humane Society when his owners became ill and could no longer care for him. He previously lived with cats and may be willing to share his new home with feline friends. He has played with other dogs also, so he may get along with another friendly dog.  Sammy is very mouthy when he is excited and during play and he jumps up often, so he needs to be in a home with older children (teens) and adults who won’t be scared of him and whom he won’t accidently knock over. Sammy’s previous owner told us that he is sensitive about his tail and does not like his tail or back-end touched, so a new owner will need to be aware of this.  We’re sure that Sammy will make a wonderful addition to a home with teens and adults who are dog-experienced. If you think Sammy is the one for you, come to meet him today at the Westport branch of the CT Humane Society!

Sugar the Siamese has been Adopted

Sugar the Siamese wants to Talk to You
Sugar. Connecticut Humane Society
**I BELONG TO PROJECT PURR-FECT!  $50 OFF MY ADOPTION DONATION!** Sugar is an exotic Siamese mix beauty! She is a vocal girl who loves to follow you around and talk to you, a very Siamese trait. When she tires out, she enjoys napping in a sunny window. She’s looking for a home with older children and adults.  A home with another cat might be alright, as long as she is allowed her personal space. Her beautiful eyes need a wipe every now and then to keep them clear & bright, and she is on a diet here for weight control.  If you think you are her special someone, ask a staff member to meet Sugar!

Flossie found a Forever Family

Flossie the dog wants a Forever Family
Flossie. Connecticut Humane Society
Flossie is a sweet girl who was rescued from North Carolina. Someone let her loose and she went and found her own way into a new home…she walked right in through the automatic doors of a pharmacy and strolled the aisles!  Flossie can be a bit shy and likes a more calm home, so we’re searching for a home with kids a bit older (8+).  She may be willing to share her home with other dogs but must be in a cat-free house.  If you’re looking for a cute, small dog, come meet Flossie at the Westport branch of the CT Humane Society!

Pookie has found a New Home

Pookie the cat wants a New Home
Pookie. Connecticut Humane Society
Pookie is an older gal in search of her forever home. She would love to live with a mellow family looking for a mellow companion.  Pookie loves to lounge around and you don’t have to worry about any damage to the sofa because she is declawed in her front paws.  Pookie may be willing to share her home with another mellow cat and would consider living with a laid-back dog.  If you want to give Pookie a home in time for the holidays, come to meet her today at the Westport branch of the CT Humane Society!
