Break Dancing at the Westport Arts Center
The Westport Arts Center (WAC) today hosted WACky Family Day with the United Outkast group from Bridgeport demonstrating break dancing moves. Wreckers Win FCIAC Baseball Title With 5-3 Victory
For the second consecutive year, Westport’s Staples High School baseball team members are Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference (FCIAC) champs. The Wreckers edged Stamford Westhill 5-3 today in a game played under brilliant sunshine at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport. Jimmy Sikorski pitched a three-hit complete game while Jack Hennessy, with three hits today, won tournament MVP. Staples teammates rush on to the field following the final out.
