Donald H. Saltus, 79
Donald H. Saltus, a former longtime Westport resident who lived on Compo Road South, died Oct. 28 in Georgetown, Texas after a short illness. He was 79.
He was born March 28, 1929 in Westfield, Mass. He was an army veteran who served in Japan during the military occupation following World War II.
He went on to obtain a degree in education from Fairfield University under the GI Bill.
He married Barbara Ann Henry, his wife of 52 years, on July 28, 1956.
