Westport Weston Health District Receives Flu Vaccine

The Westport Weston Health District received a shipment of flu vaccine today. It scheduled a clinic next week for residents 75 or older with mandatory pre-registration set for Friday.

Additional clinics for high risk groups will follow based on vaccine availability, and will be announced shortly after the first clinic, the district said.

An announcement said the pre-registration is required “in order to facilitate effective administration of the vaccine and to eliminate long waits for residents.”

Registration will take place only on Friday, Nov. 5, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., by phone at 227-9571.
