Responding to a 4-Year-Old’s Need

More than 120 persons gave blood today at an American Red Cross blood drive in honor of Michaela Richmond, 4, who has been diagnosed with leukemia. Reno Opposes Death Penalty

Former U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno told a Westport audience Sunday night she is opposed to capital punishment. She said 149 persons had been exonerated of crimes they were accused of committing in the last 10 years through the use of DNA and that such results show the nation’s criminal justice system “is not accurate enough to justify the death penalty.” photo
