Daughter of the late Thomas Kienzle, Jr., and the late Nancy Kienzle, she was born Sept. 11, 1965 in Waltham, Massachusetts.

The family moved to Westport when Janna was 5 years old. She attended Coleytown Elementary and Junior High and graduated from Staples High School in 1986.

She began working at Deloitte & Touche in Wilton in 1992. For over 20 years, she maintained the pantries and conference rooms, making sure they were clean and fully stocked with supplies.

Her job was instrumental in making Deloitte a pleasant place to work, and many employees at all levels of the organization enjoyed her friendship.

She was an ardent swimmer who swam with Our Vision and participated in the Special Olympics for over two decades.

She was passionate about music and sang in the Saugatuck Congregational Church choir when she was a teen. She also loved to color and draw and often gave her artwork as gifts to others. Most of all, Janna loved her family.

She is survived by her siblings: Thomas Kienzle of Lake Forest, Illinois, Kerry DeMunn of Cairo, New York, and JoAnn Kienzle of Brooklyn, New York.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 5 at 11 a.m. at Saugatuck Congregational Church, 245 Post Road East,

Memorial contributions in Janna’s name can be sent to Our Vision, care of Jack Breeden, 3 Dorchester Drive, Westport, CT 06880.
