Westport Artist’s Baseball Works Go On Display

Westport artist Leonard Everett Fisher, who was the grand marshal of the Westport’s Memorial Day parade on Monday is one of three artists featured at a new exhibit, “Play Ball!!” at the Fairfield Public Library’s Bruce S. Kershner Gallery. The other two artists are Glenn Callahan and Busch (identified professionally by one name). Seven of Fisher’s paintings on display in the exhibit include (l-r) “The Closer,” “The Second Baseman,” “The Starter,” “The Manager and Coaches,” “The Shortstop,” “The Third Baseman,” and “The First Baseman.” The baseball-oriented artwork is on display through July 6.
