The National Weather Service in Upton,N.Y. has issued an Urban Flood Advisory for minor flooding of poor drainage areas in Westport and area until 2:30 p.m.
National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated moderate to heavy rain moving across the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain has fallen across the area and an additional half an inch to three quarters of an inch is possible during the next few hours.
Excessive runoff from this storm will cause flooding of urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
