Part of ABC News tribute: WestportNow’s photo of George Silk taken last year at a Westport Arts Center exhibition. 2004 WestportNow.com The ABC News program “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” today remembered Westporter George Silk, a famed Life magazine photographer who died Oct. 23 at the age of 87. (See WestportNow Oct. 26, 2004)
The brief tribute came in the program’s “In Memoriam”—Lives of Note” section.
It included a number of photographs Silk took during his lifetime as well as a brief soundbite of him talking about his work: “I just instinctively worked with light. I didn’t know ɖ you know, I have no schooling but I had that already in me very strongly.”
The closing photo of the tribute was a WestportNow photograph of him taken last year at a Westport Arts Center exhibition that included several of his works.

November’s morning show November 14th once again showed how bias George is. He wouldn’t allow Spector to talk. Only the democrat was allow to speak. George is so bias because he is a democrat and a member of the Clinton crowd. Too bad for we the public to just a fair and true broadcast.
