Westport police arrested the third and final suspect in a robbery at the Merritt Country Store earlier this month, police said today.
A 17-year-old Westporter was charged on Friday with being the driver of a vehicle used as the getaway car in the May 14 robbery, and he got a share in the cash taken from the Main Street store.
The teen was charged with first degree robbery, first degree conspiracy to commit robbery and fifth degree larceny.
He was released on $50,000 in bail and is due in Norwalk Superior Court today.
No other arrests are expected in connection with the incident.
Police arrested two—a Westport teen and Norwalker Michael J. Parise—for robbing the store a week ago (See WestportNow May 24).
Earlier this month, police said an individual armed with a gun entered the store and demanded cash while a second acted as lookout, and both ran from the scene (See WestportNow May 14).
