After being off site for four years because of massive fire damage in 2011, the Saugatuck Congregational Church’s annual Thanksgiving Day Community Feast is set to return the restored church Thursday, Nov. 26, church officials say.

For its 45th annual feast, Saugatuck Congregational has partnered with Temple Israel, the United Methodist Church of Westport and Weston, and the Unitarian Church in Westport.
Church officials said that more than 100 volunteers are needed for the event, and that those who wish to help can sign up online here.
The church has also scheduled volunteer orientation for Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the church to explain various volunteer functions, time commitments, kitchen rules and to answer all questions.
The church is also asking for donations needed to defray expenses.
Officials said checks noting “Thanksgiving Feast” in the memo line should be made out to Saugatuck Congregational Church and mailed to 245 Post Road East, Westport, Conn. 06880.
