Officers arrested a Bridgeport man for criminal impersonation after he had been stopped for driving an unregistered vehicle on the Sherwood Island Connector, police said today.
Zachary Archibald, 28, was arrested Monday for interfering with an officer, criminal impersonation and lying about operating a vehicle while his license was suspended, Lt. David Farrell said.
Farrell said that after the vehicle had been stopped, Archibald gave the officer a fake name.
Archibald was held on a combined $1,500 bond, $1,000 for the criminal charges and $500 for the motor vehicle charges.
He is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Monday, Oct. 16.
