A motor vehicle stop early Saturday morning led to an arrest of Bridgeport man for narcotics possession with the intent to distribute, police said today.
Alexsander Vachev, 24, of 84 Wade St., Bridgeport was found in possession of crystal methamphetamine and GHB, as well as drug paraphernalia, police said.
According to Capt. Vincent Penna, Vachev was at first held in lieu of a $5,000 bond and later released by the state bail commissioner on a promise to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on June 3.
The suspect faces one count of sale of a hallucinogen-narcotic, one count of possession of 4 oz. of marijuana, a controlled substance, and one count of drug paraphernalia, Penna said.
