“The Verdict” will be screened on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m., accompanied by a discussion with the film’s director, Sidney Lumet, and actors Paul Newman and Milo O’Shea.
Newman received an Academy Award nomination for his role as Frank Galvin, a down-on-his luck, drunken attorney with a medical malpractice case on his hands. O’Shea plays a corrupt judge in the 1982 film. Ticket availability for “The Verdict” is limited.
