WestportNow.com Image
Representatives of the Westport Police Department and Westport Volunteer Emergency Medical Service (WVEMS) were present today as WVEMS presented First Selectman Jim Marpe with the keys to two new state of the art ambulances at Westport Town Hall. The two ambulances replace 2002 and 2009 models, according to Marc Hartog, deputy director, WEMS. The new ambulances are valued at more than $200,000 each and were paid for with funds raised by WVEMS.
