UPDATE A car traveling southbound on the Merritt Parkway in Westport today went off the road a half mile before Exit 42. Westport Assistant Fire Chief William Dingee said the driver reported that she swerved to avoid a coyote that was in the roadway causing the vehicle to go off the roadway onto the grass, then back across the road into the guardrail, and then back off the roadway onto the shoulder. She was taken to a hospital by an AMR ambulance, he said. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Contributed photo

Have no idea what happened in this instance. But in general, if everyone took their time, literally, they’d find that they’d still arrive at their intended destination(s), safely. Especially, during this busy Christmas/Holiday Season.
Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays to everyone!
Drive like your kids are in the other car.
