The call from the bank at 184 Main St. came in at about 11:10 a.m.

Firefighters said they could not detect a gas odor in the bank building nor did they find anything around the exterior, including the roof.

There have been several reports of odors of gas in the Westport center area around Elm Street and Main Street in recent weeks, all of which have been investigated by Southern Connecticut Gas Co.
