Norma B. Green, 84

Norma Berger Green, devoted mother, grandmother, writer and artist died July 28 in Arlington, Va. of natural causes. She was 84.

Born in Providence, R.I. in 1925, Mrs. Green received her BFA in Apparel Design from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in 1945. She taught at the Famous Artist School in Westport and was the author of several children’‘s books.  She was an accomplished artist and had numerous exhibits featuring her watercolor paintings.

Former wife of Norman Sumner Green, she is survived by her sons, John and William; her sister, Dorothy Friar; daughter-in-law, Michelle; three grandchildren, Brent, Kyle and Kendall; and many devoted friends. Services private.
