The wife of 60 years to Gabriel A. Marino was born April 20, 1936,  the daughter of the late Alphonse and Loretta (O’Connor) Fiore.

She was raised in Westport by Charles and Margaret Anderson. While attending Staples High School, she began her own sewing design business with a friend and upon her graduation completed design school in New York.

She loved creating felt skirts, sewing patterns, and clothing for her family. In the 1970s, she found joy in co-owning Lippe’s Maternity Shop in Norwalk, and after enjoying time with her grandchildren, went on to be president of NFM Realty.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Karen A. Marino of Shelton, Susan Nemeroff of Fairfield, and Patricia Kamper and her husband Gregg of Glen Allen, Va., five grandchildren, Adam and Alyssa Nemeroff and Christopher, Kayla and Philip Kamper. She was predeceased by her brother, the Rev. Charles C. Anderson.

Friends are invited to attend a funeral on Tuesday, Aug. 2 at 11a.m., meeting directly at Assumption Church, 98 Riverside Ave. for a Mass of Christian Burial.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place. Memphis, TN 38105 or the Shriners Hospitals for Children 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607.
