The South Western Regional Planning Agency (SWRPA) will present proposals for improving bus service in Westport at an open house on April 9 at Westport Town Hall.
SWRPA has been conducting the Westport Bus Service & Needs Study, which has been exploring opportunities to improve bus service in Westport.
The open house is to present these findings and to solicit feedback from the public on the proposals to be presented, an announcement said.
There will be an interactive group activity to allow the public to provide real-time feedback on which improvements can best benefit the community, it said.
The open house will be held from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Ave.
Staff from SWRPA, the Westport Transit District, and members of the study team, led by AECOM, will be at the meeting to discuss the study and answer questions, the announcement said.
