Lillian T. Duquette, 96

Lillian T. Duquette of Westport died Feb. 21 in the Carolton Convalescent Hospital Fairfield. She was 96.

She was born at home on Sturges Highway, daughter of the late Alexander and Krestyna (Opreska) Twarda. She has been a lifelong resident of Westport. She was a graduate of Staples High School and a former avid bowler.

In addition to her husband, Gerald, and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers Peter and John Twarda, and three sisters, Ann Kush, Catherine Uhrynowski and Mary Ditter. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 11 a.m., meeting directly at Assumption Church, 98 Riverside Ave. To leave an online condolence, go to http://www.hardingfuneral.com.
