A huge selection of gardening books in time for spring planting will be just one of myriad offerings in the Westport Library’s annual March Book Sale scheduled for Saturday through Tuesday, March 8 in the McManus Room, event organizers say.
Other categories offered in hard and soft covers include: fiction and mystery, travel, biography, history, cooking, home, crafts and spring sports.
Also this year, event organizers say many comic books will be on sale, as well as a large assortment of children’s books, none more than $1, plus test prep guides.
In addition to books there will be DVDs, CDs and collectibles in the new category of ephemera: vintage magazines, travel materials, playbills, cooking booklets and assorted pamphlets.
Saturday’s sale hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m., and Monday, March 7, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with everything half-priced.
The last day, Tuesday, March 8, from 9 a.m. to noon everything is free, but there are suggested donations of $5 per bag.
