KMS Partners, LLC, Wade Shavell of Westport, Sheila Keenan of Westport, Laurie Morris of Weston, and Dorita Barrett of Westport today announced that Karen Scott will become a partner in the group effective in January.
A full-time agent in residential real estate, Scott has been affiliated with KMS Partners—of Coldwell Banker Riverside Shavell—since June 2003.
“During that time, she has demonstrated the highest professional standards and a dedication to satisfying the needs of clients by providing them with the utmost level of support available,” an announcement said.
“It is her keen insight of the real estate market, her savvy business sense and her first rate client service, that friends, colleagues and customers applaud.”
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a BA in economics and finance and an MBA in marketing from DePaul University, Kellstadt School of Business, Scott lives in Westport with her husband, Bob, and their two sons, Michael and Jack.
She is actively involved in numerous community interests—a board member of the Westport PTA, Westport Soccer Association and Westport Young Womans League, co-chairing the annual Minute Man Race.
In addition, Scott volunteers her time to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation and St. Luke Church.
Scott previously held various leadership positions in the airline industry. Her contributions ranged from opening new international domicile locations, acting as a corporate instructor of service quality seminars and customer service training.
She received numerous awards and customer service accolades including the coveted ғBest in the Business award.
