Jeff Pegues (r), CBS News Justice and Homeland Security Department correspondent, returned to Westport tonight where he grew up, to talk about his new book, “Black and Blue: Inside the Divide Between the Police and Black America.” Before a packed audience at the Westport Library, he and Westport Police Chief Foti Koskinas, teammates on their Staples High School football team, discussed policing in large cities and small towns like Westport. Asked how to improve relations between blacks and police in urban areas, Pegues replied, “You must have the facts.
