Irma D. Trau, 95

Former Westport resident Irma D. Trau died March 25 at The Greens in Wilton. She was 95.

Mrs. Trau was born Sept. 18, 1915, in New York City, to William and Josephine Denker. She graduated from Adelphi University was a proud member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. She worked for Pepperidge Farm until her retirement.

She is survived by her two children, Joan I. Seaman of Wilton, and David S. Trau of Monroe. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Joseph L. Seaman also of Wilton and his three children, Joseph, Abigail and Lindsay, and Debra L. Westerback of Fairfield and her three children, Christopher, Kelly and Madison, and Robert Trau and David Trau of Monroe.

Her interests included family, traveling, swimming and reading. She devoted much of her time and energy to her family members, and she cared for her mother until she passed away at the age of 91.

She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she will be forever missed.

At her request no service will be held.
