Westport artist Leonard Everett Fisher addresses a reception tonight at the Fairfield Public Library’s Bruce S. Kershner Gallery where some of his baseball-related paintings went on display as part of a new exhibit, “Play Ball!!.” Fisher, who was this year’s grand marshal at the Westport Memorial Day parade, welcomed the crowd and said,“Let’s all sing ‘Take Me Out to the Ballgame.’”  And they did. Explaining his love of baseball, he said, “I was born with a baseball in my mouth.” Click here to see some scenes from the reception. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Phyllis Groner for WestportNow.com
