Honoring Our Heritage: 21 Weston Road

WestportNow.com Image
The owners of 21 Weston Road, Dana and Mark Rudick, are the newest recipients of a Westport Historical Society (WHS) historical plaque presented by Bob Weingarten, WHS plaque historian. The circa 1877 house, known as the Benjamin Adair House, was built on land owned by the Morris Ketchum family, according to Weingarten, who said records show that Adair was Ketchum’s coachman. The Rudicks, who purchased the house in 2004 after relocating from New York, said they loved the house the very first time they stepped into it. Dana Rudick said,“The house is so warm and charming and has so much character.”  Mark Rudick added: “We lived in a pre-war apartment in New York’s Upper West Side and like the feel of an historic setting.” (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Dave Matlow for WestportNow.com
