To schedule an appointment, visit WWHD’s Web site and follow the link to the H1N1 Vaccine information page.

The clinics are only for those residents who are eligible to receive the inactivated, injectable formulation of the H1N1 vaccine, the District said.

The supply of injectable vaccine remains limited, so those eligible must have an appointment; no walk-ins will be accepted, according to an announcement.

To be eligible, residents must be in at least one of the following groups: pregnant women; all children aged 6 – 23 months; household contacts and caregivers of infants less than 6 months of age who are either age 50 or older, or any age with high risk medical conditions.

High risk medical conditions include asthma, diseases of the lung, kidney, heart, or blood, diabetes, cancer, neurological or immune disorders, the District said.
