Harvest Now Looking at January Opening Image
The Harvest Restaurant, 36 Railroad Place, in the space formerly occupied by Mario’s Place, is now scheduled to open the second or third week of January, according to co-owner Nuve Siguenza. There had been a report that the restaurant hoped to open by the end of December. The owners also operate Cava in New Canaan, Harvest in Greenwich, New Haven, Scena in Darien, and 55 Degrees in Fairfield. Frank ”Tiger” DeMace, co-founder of Mario’s with the late Mario Sacco, died in 2012 at age 78. Mario’s closed in April.  (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Dave Matlow for
