Hanging His Fellow Artists Image
Westport artist Miggs Burroughs hangs a lenticular portrait of fellow Westport artist Howard Munce in advance of the opening of his show “Journeys” Saturday at the Fairfield Public Library. Other portraits include local artists Roe Halper, Enid Monroe, Tracy Sugarman, Nina Bentley, David Rogers, Alberta Cifolelli, and Arthur Burke. The show opens Saturday 5-7 p.m. in the Bruce S. Kershner Gallery and will feature 25 lenticular images. The technology involves using a lenticular lens to produce images with an illusion of depth, or the ability to change or move as the image is viewed from different angles. The show runs through June 14. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Contributed photo
