Girlfriend Arrested After Main Street Ruckus Image
Anna Janisch: released on $1,000 bail. Westport Police photo

Police arrested a Westport woman early today after she allegedly forced open a locked, second floor office door at the 323 Restaurant at 323 Main St. and caused a ruckus with her former boyfriend, police said.

It is also alleged that Anna Janisch, 29, of 19A Stoneboat Road, damaged a planter outside the building before going inside, according to Capt. Samuel Arciola.

“During the investigation it was alleged that the girlfriend had forced open the locked second floor office door, and once inside became confrontational with her former boyfriend,” Arciola said.

Charged with disorderly conduct and fighting capable of causing minor injuries, Janisch, who had been an employee of the restaurant, was released after posting a $1,000 bond.

At a court appearance in Norwalk later, she was issued a protective order for the victim in the case and released on a promise to appear at her next court date of July 1.
