Estelle Feldhuhn, a Westport resident for 55 years, died Oct. 22, one day shy of her 89th birthday.
She worked for more than 40 years in the Westport residential real estate business, working both as an independent broker and with some of the town’s best known real estate agencies.
Born in New York City, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Celia (Ennis) Kodar. In 1946, she married Lawrence Feldhuhn, a veteran of World War II, who was a certified public accountant and served as controller and treasurer of the former Burndy Corp. in Norwalk.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Paul Feldhuhn (Staples High School, class of 1967) and his wife, Janelle, of Palm Bay, Fla.; Jeanne Feldhuhn (Staples ‘71) and her husband, Mark Sheridan of Washington Depot; and Michael Feldhuhn (Staples ‘76) and his wife, Margaret “Meg” Curran of Providence, R.I.; her granddaughter, Margaret Elise “Margy” Feldhuhn of Providence; and her sister Zena Livingston, and her husband, Dr. Leon Livingston, of North Bellemore, N.Y. and their children and grandchildren.
